I've been in Seattle for over 10 years now and here are some of my favorite places to stay in the summertime - including a few of the best campgrounds.

This place is a dream. I'd get married here if my east coast fam wouldn't kill me. Their prices are somewhat affordable. Stay in the Lagoon Rooms so you have a view of the inlet and sunrise, and your own private bathroom. The rooms/decor is mid-centu...Watch my review
Captain Whidbey
A more affordable option than the Inn At Langley. It's also in the heart of town and the room was clean and lovely with a big cozy bed…there's also a fireplace in the room and an extensive DVD collection haha. Watch my review here
Saratoga Inn
A gem in the heart of Langley. The restaurant and spa onsite are incredible but pretty $$$
Inn At Langley
If you remember the Wandering Goose in Capitol Hill, it lives on at this historic and charming hotel!
Tokeland Hotel
Stunning and remote. Go to the Hoh Rainforest then come here to spend the night
Lake Crescent Lodge
I can't afford this place and you have to book far in advance but it's so damn dreamy
In an old school house with multiple bars and restaurants onsite
Anderson School Hotel - Bothell - McMenamins
Stay here after a night of camping at the Gorge. It's beautiful and very unique (winery, cliffside, desert, beautiful outdoor pool and spa)
Sagecliffe Resort and Spa
Campsites
This is hands down my favorite campsite in WA. Bring your SUPs and kayaks and spend the day on Diablo Lake
Colonial Creek South Campground, North Cascades National Park
Extremely limited availability this is so remote and stunning. You have to drive to Chelan then get on a quick ferry from there. Book a campsite here (they have some for first-come first-serve too)
Camping in Stehekin - National Park Service
Save this for a lil surf trip getaway! LOGE has nice/clean private rooms and campsites available.
LOGE Westport
This is a great spot to camp or just go for the day. You can kayak in Bowman Beach too.
