Pizza/pasta
You must go as close to opening time as possible! This place gets BUSY but it's worth it. You can go and put your name on the list and then grab a drink at the dive bar next door or nearby at Single Shot. IMO, this spot has the best pizza in Seattle.
Cornelly
A gem in West Seattle, focused on pastas with local, high quality ingredients. They also have an extensive wine collection and just remodeled their patio, which will be great for summer nights!
Il Nido
It's tough to get a res here. I set up alerts on Open Table!
Spinasse
Great neighborhood gem in Ballard. They have lots of toppings you can add to your pizza and incredible chocolate chip cookies for dessert (or you can take the dough to go and make them at home!). Watch my review here
Delancey
Every Sunday and Monday they have a special: two pastas + one bottle of wine for $45. Insane deal! No reservations needed
Artusi
Black/female-owned spot in Capitol Hill. Delicious and authentic Italian food!
Osteria la Spiga
My secret Magnolia gem!!! We love this neighborhood spot.
Queen Margherita Pizza
Love their pasta dishes and their saganaki. This place is like a greek/italian combo!
Grappa
Sushi
The only place better than Shiro's imo…but it'll cost you half your rent so save this for a BIG night out.
Sushi Kashiba
If you love sushi, save this for a special occasion. We did the nigiri tasting (19 pieces for $85 - not bad) and you can do this at the table, which is much easier and less expensive than getting a res at the sushi bar. Watch my review here
Shiro's Sushi
Save this for a more casual sushi date night. The cowboy crunch is my favorite!
Umi Sake House - Seattle
Tiny little sushi joint in West Seattle. Go here before you see a movie across the street
Irashai Sushi
Mediterranean
A gem in beacon hill that's known for delicious Mediterranean food. Sit at the chef's counter if you can to see them in action! Save room for their homemade soft serve.
Homer
This is my fav Tom Douglas spot in Seattle. They have delicious kebabs (love the halloumi and fig!) and freshly-made beignets for dessert.
Lola
Famous chefs
This place is relatively new and the head chef just won a James Beard for emerging chef 2024. Some things are skippable but the brisket and tuna tostadas were absolutely incredible. Check out my review here
Pancita at Pair
If you're looking for a bougie, foodie-focused evening, this is the spot. Located in White Center, the head chef was formerly at Canlis for many years.
TOMO
Amazing date night spot in Wallingford. It recently opened and they now have a patio too, which will be great for summer night dates!
