These are local activities that we love to attend. They seem to get better each year so we make sure not to miss it. We love to go together and make memories of the season.
A holiday favorite for my family is visiting our local botanical garden for the Galaxy of Lights. It is a local tradition of the past 25 years. There are lights, music, people, and even faux snow. This year it will be November 17 to December 31. You can walk or drive the path and they even have nights for dog walking this year!

Holiday Movies and Music
One of our favorite traditions is our holiday movie marathon. We put our favorite movies on repeat and just watch them over and over. We also can't forget the holiday music. We start playing Christmas music as soon as we take our Halloween costumes off!
This is a definite staple in my home for the holidays. We watch this on repeat for days at a time. Christmas is not officially here until we watch this at least 2-3 times.

Now we just cannot have our holiday movie marathon without snacks and treats. My husband makes popcorn. My mom sends a gift box of snacks every year. We make smores and drink hot cocoa. It is simple but still a favorite in my family. I really love this tradition.
