Intimate elopements for 5-15 guests within JTNP.
A great spot for live oak tree lovers like myself, because you will find them here in the middle of the desert, along with Joshua Trees and boulders!

Live Oak Picnic Area
No towering boulders or fields of Joshua Trees, but an expanse of desert views as far as the eye can see; ideal for sunrise or sunset views!

Porcupine Wash
Fields of Joshua Trees without any strenuous hiking, in a location central to the park.

Lost Horse Mine - Joshua Tree National Park
This location is one of the most “off the beaten path” permitted wedding spots. It's down a dirt road, though 4x4 is not required.

Desert Queen Mine
Ok this spot is pretty dope. While you won't see a field of Joshua Trees, there are some really great boulders that you can easily climb straight to the top of in just a few minutes.

Split Rock Loop Trail - California | AllTrails
Up to 15 guests are allowed in this spot that has boulders and Joshua Trees. It's closed from February to May each year.
Quail Springs Picnic Area
Medium Sized Weddings (20-35 guests)
Want something not too small but not too big? These are the perfect spots within JTNP.
Lots of fun boulders and nooks to tuck away in with up to 20 guests.
Rattlesnake Canyon
I think this is one of the best spots in the park because it has it ALL - giant boulders, a field of Joshua Trees, and easy hike and ample parking.

Cap Rock
This is my all time favorite spot. Like Cap Rock, there are rocks and a valley of Joshua Trees, but something about this spot makes me love it the most.

Hidden Valley Picnic Area
Another flat, expansive area in the park, with sand dunes and mountains in the distance. This would be an epic sunrise or sunset wedding location.

Large Weddings (up to 100 guests)
Where to have your large wedding within JTNP.

If getting married within the park doesn't work out, there are a handful of wonderful venues in the area to choose from, or different routes to take, like getting married at your airbnb or in Palm Springs, with a photo session within the park.

This venue is so incredibly gorgeous and unique, including private spaces to stay for the weekend. Check out their website asap.
Rimrock Ranch
This amazing location can hold up to 100 guests, with sweeping outdoor views and a ballroom as well. Currently they have micro-wedding discounts through Spring 2024!

This is the most high end restaurant in 29 Palms, perfect for your wedding reception.
