If you only have a few days in SF, and enjoy mild hedonism & cheap food, then this is what I would do. Most of this itinerary is completely walkable. Some things are cash only. Enjoy at your own risk. 🌯 🥃

Day 2
Day 1
Start your day at Eddie's Cafe. It's a breakfast spot with a great collection of coffee mugs, cozy booths, a bar counter, and the best customer service anywhere.
Eddie's Cafe
🚶 Then walk up the hill to Alamo Square for the views. You'll see the Full House house, the SF skyline, and you might even run into dozens of pugs at a pug owner's meetup.
Alamo Square
🚶 Now walk down the hill to Hayes Valley and get a juice at Juice Shop. And wander around the shops for a bit.
Juice Shop
🚶 Next head over to Yamo for lunch. This place is tiny so you can put in an order to go, but I prefer sitting at the counter inside. The entire place only seats about 6 people, and I love watching them cook and talk shit in this little hot kitchen. ...
Yamo
🚶 Now that you're full of noodles, walk over to Dolores Park. Pick up some beverages on the way. You'll want something to sip on while you sit and relax in the grass overlooking the Mission and the SF skyline. There are also vendors walking around s...
Dolores Park
🚗 Head over to Chinatown for happy hour at Buddha. Enjoy cheap drinks and play dice with the bartender.
BUDDHA LOUNGE
🚶 Walk over to the legendary Vesuvio to drink like Kerouac did. I usually order something brown on ice and sit upstairs. This is one of my favorite places on earth.
Vesuvio Cafe
🚶 Now walk across the street and drop into Specs for a drink or two. Order the gouda cheese and they'll give you a hunk of cheese and some saltines. Bask in the awesomeness of this place before moving on.
Specs' Twelve Adler Museum Cafe
🚶 Walk up Columbus to Mario's. You will tempted by at least two gelato places on your way over, and that's ok, eat some gelato if you're feeling it, but I'd rather get a seat the the bar at Mario's and have some focaccia and cheap red wine. This pla...
Mario's Bohemian Cigar Store Cafe
🚶 There is no better dinner in North Beach than Golden Boy. Wait in line, order a couple of slices, and enjoy some of my favorite pizza in the world.
Golden Boy Pizza
🚶 Almost right next door from Golden Boy is this dive bar. A great mix of regular locals and random tourists/travelers. I recommend staying until closing time for best results. 🍻
Columbus Cafe
Day 2
If you followed my instructions for Day 1 at all, you should be at least mildly hungover, which is why you should start your day at St. Francis. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots in SF. Has a cool old school vibe and everything you need to get ...
St. Francis Fountain
🚶 Now walk on up to Bernal Heights Park. It's a solid little urban hike to the top with a great view of the city from downtown to Twin Peaks. Relax, take a deep breath, enjoy the view.
Bernal Heights Park
🛢️ Roll or walk down the hill to El Rio to hang in their expansive back patio. Sometimes there's live music happening back there, or a drag show, who knows, but it's always a good time. Have a mezcal margarita.
El Rio SF
🏃 When you're hungry again, walk over to the El Farolito on 24th and Alabama. Not to be confused with the one on Mission and 24th. Anyway, order a burrito and enjoy your life. This is one of the best burritos I've ever had anywhere. So, so good. Not...
Taqueria El Farolito
🚍 Next, hop on the 33 bus. This is one of the most scenic bus rides you can take in SF and will drop you off right at Haight/Ashbury for only $3 cash per person. If you sit on the left side of the bus facing forward you will have the best view.
33 Ashbury/18th Street | SFMTA
🚶 Go inside of Amoeba to escape the giant fog cloud you are now inside of. Browse the aisles upon aisles of records and tapes. Definitely worth a visit if you like music in any way, shape, or form.
Amoeba Music
🚶 When you're done at Amoeba, stop into The Alembic for an amazing cocktails and bar snacks. Share some pickles, olives and flatbread if you're feeling like a snack. Everything is seasonal, including some of the cocktails.
The Alembic
🚶 Now take a walk through the panhandle and head over to Divis. There's a walking path you'll find. Enjoy the trees and beautiful victorian houses along the way.
Panhandle
🚶 Grab a table outside at Bean Bag and sip on some Trumer Pilsners and do some people watching.
Bean Bag Cafe
🧈 While at Bean Bag, run across the street to Popeyes and get a couple of biscuits to go with your beers.
Popeyes
🚶 Head to Madrone for happy hour and enjoy the immaculate vibes. Always something interesting going on in here.
Madrone Art Bar
🚶 Get dinner at Waziema for some good Ethiopian food and drinks. This place is part restaurant and part dive bar. Get full, play pool.
Waziema
🚶 Get more drinks and play more pool at The Page, a no-nonsense neighborhood bar with a jukebox.
The Page
🚶 Walk down to Noc Noc, a bar that looks like it was designed by David Lynch and Beetlejuice.
Noc Noc
🚙 Catch a ride to the TL and head to the castle. Grab a drink and sit upstairs or play some more pool.
Endinburgh Castle
🚼 Once they tell you to leave the castle, head over to Pinecrest Diner for some late night food. One of the very few 24HR diners in all of SF.
