South Dakota is a hidden gem in my opinion, here's a few things to make you wanna take a trip there!
Crazy cool to drive through this tunnel. The first time I went though I almost had a panic attack haha, but it was worth it. Such a fun adventure.
Needles Eye Tunnel
Underwhelming in my opinion, but still gotta go see it once. They always look so huge in pictures, but they are a bit small in person. The giftshop/cafe was nice to spend some time in.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial
Very underrated national park. I love the way the lines show off the history it took to make these beautiful badlands. This area stretches for miles so make sure you stop and take it all the beauty they have to offer.

Wall Drug Store
Cool town right outside Rapid City. They are mostly known for the huge motorcycle events they hold each year. We went in off season so it wasn't packed. Worth driving through.
Sturgis
Lot's of casinos in this little town. Definitely worth checking out if your around Rapid City. The history alone is cool, then add in the night life and you have yourself a fun time.
Historic Deadwood
Cool building to check out on the outside. Its gated off so you can't go in but still worth a visit if you're in the area.
Homestake Mining Company
If you're in the area stop by and see the film site for Dances with Wolves.

You can't visit Custer without stopping for a famous slice of pie at Purple Pie Place. They have so many great flavors, always fresh and tasty.
Purple Pie Place
The history of this monument is pretty interesting. The story of it and the people who started/continue to work on it was cool to learn about. Stop by and learn more if you're visiting the area!

Stop in here to visit the world's largest Bigfoot. Make sure you get a picture with it!
Dahl's Chainsaw Art
This chapel is an exact replica of the one they have out in Norway. Very cool to look at the architecture this building has.
