This is a good overview of American History, but some chapters need to be supplemented with decolonized resources like The Indiginous History of the United States and Zinn's People's History of the United States for Young Readers.

Hands down the best American History book for high school. This is secular and decolonized.

A must-have for your American History curriculum.
Indigenous Peoples' History of the U.S.
This is another must-have for a decolonized American History class. We use it as a companion book as it is laid out in chronological order.
A Queer History of the United States for Young People
This is a fantastic detailed overview of protists that I had difficulty finding in high school biology books.
A World in a Drop of Water: Exploring with Microscope
I love this comparative religion book as a supplement to world history. It has QR codes with links to videos and lots of additional resources. Be sure to check out all the links and videos in the book.

This book is an absolute must for American History and botany.
Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults
This is a classic. It introduces different plant families and easy waya to recognize them.

I like Essentials in Writing as a core book for ELA. The videos are short and easy to follow, too.

It covers both pre-algebra and algebra 1. It is in easy to read dyslexia-friendly font. It has all the formulas and ideas nicely organized to help students learn to take notes in math.

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein: Study Guide
This is by far the easiest way to read Shakespeare. The modern version is side by side with the original. This is also one of my favorite Shakespeare plays.
Twelfth Night (No Fear Shakespeare) (Volume 8)
This has the Shakespeare version on one side and a modern translation on the other making it super easy to understand and accessible.
