Some of the things that we purchased and/or were on our baby registry that we ended up using for not just one but both kids. I had the “buy it nice or buy it twice” mentality

Our boys were never really into the oball, but the rattle and car were both huge hits for them. Easy to grab, fun to wave and bang around.
Bright Starts Oball Shaker Toy
I am an unofficial Sassy ambassador. We have every Sassy brand toy I've ever seen and they've all been great.
Sassy Drive & Drool Key
This banana is great for teething and getting your child used to early teeth brushing.
Baby Banana Infant Teething Toothbrush
This set, but particularly the green ring with the heart/whale tale shape coming off of it. If you can find that one alone just get that. It was my saving grace during the emergence of his first 4 teeth.
Nuby 3pk 3 Stage Teether Set
Our 3 year old still enjoys playing with the soft blocks. But the sensory balls are the real star in this set.
Infantino Go gaga! Balls, Blocks & Buddies
Pop these guys in the freezer and your teething baby will thank you in the form of drooley silence.
Razbaby 2pk Teether - Tan/Gray
This one is way better than the more “aesthetic” cloud version, don't let anybody tell you differently.
Skip Hop Explore & More Baby's View 3- Stage Activity Center
We do the Lovevery subscription boxes. But of the individual toys that they sell this one is definitely one of the ones that received a lot of love from our boys.

Snack on the go with these. Yes, there are absolutely more aesthetic ones. I personally still preferred these to another brand that sold silicone neutral colour ones. I found that the Munchkin ones had more of a rigid lid which helped keep snacks fro...
Munchkin Snack Catcher - 2pk
At first I thought it was kind of silly getting our eldest a Yeti, but for the same reasons we love ours for outdoors we love them for the kids. The Yeti is the only water bottle we've purchased that is still around almost 3 years later. It has trave...

Both boys use this white noise machine. It's been great as our older one ages, we've introduced using the red light/green light system for when it's wake up time.
I love this bath toy scoop. It fits a lot of toys, allows them to dry and hangs on the wall. It's convenient, minimal effort to clean up and know your children's bath toys aren't sitting at the bottom of the tub growing bacteria.
Munchkin Super Scoop Bath Toy Organizer And Storage - Gray
We were gifted a LouLou Lollipop muslin blanket when I was pregnant with my first son and I loved it so much, not only did I buy multiple more for myself, but it's now a staple gift that I include with all of my baby gifts.
LouLou Lollipop Swaddles
We originally had the Ubbi because I liked that you could use any bag. After about a year the smell could not be cleaned out of it and I purchased the Dekor when we knew we'd be having a second. You can use any bag, but their bag system is fantastic....

Bathtime
I chose this bath because of the adjustable baby sling. I also liked that we could use it on our kitchen counter when he was very little instead of just in the tub.
Skip Hop Moby Smart Sling 3-Stage Tub
Both of our boys had dry skin and we found this soft brush to be excellent in helping to remove some of the skin easily and painlessly.
Derma Frida - Cradle Cap Brush
For the Parents
We had the Boon, a Philips and an OXO. This inexpensive Munchkin bottle drying rack has been by far the one that we prefer using.
Munchkin Fold Cup and Bottle Drying Rack - White
I can't say that I have much experience in the bottle warmer space. This one was easy to use, very quick and easy to pack down into a suitcase.
Premium Fast bottle warmer
For the Postpartum Mama
With my first I thought it was silly, they give you one when you leave the hospital. I am so happy I purchased this with my second. We also use it as a portable bidet for messy potty training cleanups with our toddler now.
Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle
Nothing will beat the padsicles that they have at the hospital, but these are a close second and way better than any of the DIY recipe's I tried.
Frida Mom Instant Ice Maxi Pad - 8ct
They make a spray as well but I preferred the balm as I found the soothing and cooling properties lasted longer than the spray.
Earth Mama Cooling Organic Perineal Balm for Postpartum Recovery
To say that I practically lived in my Thinx when I returned home from the hospital is an understatement. This style is super absorbent (equivalent of 5 tampons) and so much more comfortable than wearing pads.
Modal Cotton Boyshort
Same as the boy shorts but a brief version. Even 18 months after giving birth I still prefer wearing these when possible to avoid traditional FHP's.
Super Absorbant Cotton Brief
I had a hard time finding nursing bras that were comfortable, functional and actually stayed clipped. The Knix nursing line is fantastic and I wish I had found out about them before I had my first child.
The Most Comfortable Maternity nursing bra - wireless, seamless ...
This is the tank top version of the nursing bra. The fabric has a slight compression to it which felt really nice on my soft, tender stomach.

Gear
We just got home from a trip to Disneyland and another to Whistler, BC where we did a bunch of hiking. Our 1+ year old (~25lbs) still sits happily in this carrier for over 2-3 hours at a time.
