If Adult Swim was a playlist... Musicians that utilize animation to boost their musical experience are uniting visual art and music in a really fun & accessible way. I love the dynamics and creativity animation can add to a music video, as well as seeing the story as the songs play. Here are some of my favorite animated music videos for visual and audio sensory enjoyment!
Siamés is a great electropop rock band that uses animation with their music for most videos. This video is a fun psychedelic experience. It's hard to choose a favorite from their animations but I want to give their video for "My Way" an honorable mention. It has beautiful, brutal imagery and a darker vibe than "All the Best".
