As a dedicated educator, my passion for teaching begins at home. This summer, I am taking a break from sending my daughter back to daycare to homeschool her. This list includes the essential resources and materials I use to teach my 3-year-old math, reading, writing, and science. Each item is carefully chosen to nurture her curiosity, support her learning journey, and lay a strong educational foundation. The love and dedication I pour into her education reflect the same commitment I bring to my students. Explore these must-have tools that make learning engaging, fun, and effective.

Phonics/Reading

These are my recommended phonics resources for 3-year-olds who have mastered upper and lowercase letter recognition and letter-sound correspondence. Since my daughter mastered these prerequisites at 2, I am now introducing her to blending/segmenting CVC words and sight words.
Number Sense/Math
4
These are my recommended math resources for 3-year-olds who can visually recognize quantities of 5 or less, compare quantities by identifying more or less, and count past 20. Since my daughter mastered these prerequisites at 2, I continue to build her number sense by extending her rote counting to 120, enhancing her one-to-one correspondence, and developing her cardinality skills (ability to tell how many are in a set).
