Heads up - I read a lot of horror/thrillers, so if that's not your thing, I don't think you'll like my recommendations 😅 but if you're a horror junkie like me, then you're in the right place 😌
This book literally had my skin crawling the moment I started reading it. I absolutely devoured this story and finished it in one day.
Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell
One of my FAVOURITE books of all time. It's a perfect blend of sci-fi and horror. I think I read this in one sitting and still think about it months later.
Intercepts by T.J. Payne
Something about the way this book is written is just so eery and unsettling, and I still think about it months after reading it.
Penpal by Dathan Auerbach
This one is on my list for obvious reasons - it's a true horror classic. One of the first horror books I read, and the one that got me hooked on the genre.
The Shining by Stephen King
This was my first Nick Cutter book and I was not disappointed! Immediately ordered 2 more of his books after reading this one.
The Troop by Nick Cutter
The major twist in this book is one that I haven't stopped thinking about since finishing it. This was my first Catriona Ward novel and I am now a huge fan of hers!
The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona ward
Okay, so this is not a book but rather a source for books, BUT I had to include it on here. It's basically a Canadian website that sells overstock that didn't sell in the books stores, returned books, etc. so everything is discounted. The books often...

Riley Sager can do no wrong in my eyes, I've loved everything I've read of his!
Middle of the Night by Riley Sager
Read this immediately after reading The Troop, and it was just as good!
The Deep by Nick Cutter
This book is truly unlike anything else I've ever read, not just in its subject matter, but the way it is written. Such a unique and interesting read!
Another horror classic, and one of my favourite Stephen King novels
Pet Sematary by Stephen King
If you like a sci-fi thriller, I highly HIGHLY recommend this book! This was my first Blake Crouch novel and it made me want to read all of his books. It's sci-fi without being too science-ey to the point where it's hard to follow along.
This book has more of a folklore horror aspect to it, which usually is not my favourite type of horror, but there's just something about the way T. Kingfisher writes that has me hooked on the story no matter what.
The Hollow Places by at. Kingfisher
This book is LONG (over 700 pages), but it did not feel like it AT ALL! I flew through this book, the creepy, eerie, unsettling vibes were on point and I was hooked through all 700 pages.
Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky
If you've seen the movie, you already know what this book is about but DAMN, it this story just hits different in book form. Soo much better than the movie !
